This Privacy Policy explains how ATC: Cleared for Takeoff ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. The App is a voice-controlled air-traffic-control game. We have designed it to keep your data on your device wherever possible. We do not require an account, and we do not ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal contact information.
The App uses your microphone so you can speak air-traffic-control instructions. Speech recognition runs on your device using an offline, bundled recognizer. Your audio is processed in real time to detect what you said and is not recorded, not stored, and not transmitted to us or to any third party. If the on-device recognizer is unavailable on your device, the App may fall back to your operating system's built-in speech-recognition service; in that case, audio handling is governed by your device manufacturer's and platform's privacy policy. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings (the App's voice features will simply stop working).
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
This information is used to select ads, limit repeated ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. Google's use of this data is described in its own policies. You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device's advertising settings (for example, "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).
The App offers optional in-app purchases (for example, unlocking additional content or removing ads). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your payment card details. Google shares with us only whether a purchase succeeded so the App can unlock the corresponding content, which is then recorded locally on your device.
The App saves your game progress, settings, and which content you have unlocked in local storage on your device. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. Deleting the App removes this data. If your device backs up app data through your platform account (for example, Google backup), that backup is governed by your platform's privacy policy, not ours.
The App may download fonts from Google's font service (fonts.gstatic.com) to display text. These requests are for downloading font files only and are not used by us to identify you.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information with third parties except as needed to provide the App's advertising and purchasing features described above, which are handled by Google. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising in the App is intended for a general audience. If you believe a child has provided information through the ad or purchasing services, please contact us and we will work with the relevant provider to address it.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain accounts or our own servers, the personal data associated with the App is held by Google in connection with ads and purchases; you can exercise many of these rights directly through your Google account and device settings, or contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
